At
P.S. 279, class 2-A213 began our autumn project by
reading “Leaf Man”, by Lois Ehlert. The children
then created their own leaf man or woman and showed
what he or she would do next in our community.
At
our next session in the computer lab we talked about the
different signs of fall and how these changes related to their
senses. The children then created sense pictures using Kid Pix.
The children really enjoyed their autumn adventures in the lab!
Standards:
The students demonstrate a sound understanding of the nature
and operation of technology systems.
Children will read, write, listen and speak for literacy
response and expression.
