We took a nature walk to collect leaves. We came back to our classroom and discussed ways in which we could sort the leaves (by color, shape, style, etc.)

We formed our leaf man using the leaves we collected on our nature walk.

Leaf man traveled to our homes and we each used developmental spelling to write and crayons to illustrate what leaf man saw in our area.
