Leaf Man
Project 2008
 The
first and second grade class at Spalding Public School enjoyed
participating in the Leaf Man Project as a fun fall activity. Mrs.
Carraher's students loved Lois Ehlert's book, Leaf Man, and were
all anxious to try their hand at writing and illustrating their own page
for our class book. Leaf Man flew though the community of Spalding and
saw many interesting sites--many of these were either a family business
of one of the students or a parent's place of employment. We made our book into a Powerpoint story complete with audio of children reading their respective pages. We were a little disappointed that our fall foilage was not as vibrant as most falls. We are guessing it was due to the dry summer. |
