We just finished our unit:
Hallo Deutschland. This unit was an inquiry into how culture
affects the way we live. Part of the inquiry was about living in
Germany and learning to live in another culture. We had questions
like: How is Germany unique? and How can I be a good neighbor in
Germany?
We decided that part of what makes Germany unique is the seasons and our local geography. |

We took a walk to the Rhine River, where we made observational drawings. These drawings gave us ideas and tied into our reading, Leaf Man. The students made their own pages for a class book, Leaf Man, Leaf Man. Hope you enjoy our side of the world!
