Leaf Man Project 2008

Our Leaf Man traveled all around our community of Gouverneur, NY.  Students were asked to collect leaves from their own neighborhoods to create a new Leaf Man. We voted as a group to choose the new Leaf Man to use in our class book.

As a class, we brainstormed a list of all the places Leaf Man could visit in our town. Each day, as part of our community writing, we created a class book. Students wrote a describing sentence about each place as well. Our class had a lot of fun with this project and we hope you enjoy our finished book!
