Our Kindergarten Class began the Leaf Man Project with a scavenger hunt to collect leaves native to Florida.  We sorted, classified, and analyzed the leaves as we wrote about them. 

We read Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf by Lois Ehlert and compared the story to Leaf Man. Each student wrote about an adventure with Leaf Man. We published a class book and we’re now working on poems for the project.  Happy Fall!
