Erin
Moran's book, Colorful Spring, was our first read-aloud springtime book
this year. Her rhyming verses are enchanting and Danny Pickett's
flower illustrations are just beautiful!

After taking a walk
outside to look for signs of spring, we began to write our spring poems.
Everyone wrote and illustrated a four-line poem. You can read them

Then our class wrote this diamante poem together:
